The concept of using colours to heal, has roots which are as deep as modern medicine itself. The ancient Egyptians and Chinese practiced various forms of colour treatments.
The Lillian Maund Chromotherapy Unit has been designed for use by Beauty Therapists, taking beauty therapy into the field of optoelectronics, using the knowledge that colours have an influence on an organic level by using various wave lengths. Chromatic light at different wavelengths is delivered to the client by special, safe diodes contained in an applicator. Three dials determine the pulse, frequency and strength of the light. The machine and applicators are all built into a smart, professional, aluminium flight case.
By selective stimulation of specific biological chains, this equipment causes widely different organic effects, such as the increase in muscular tone (firming) the increase in cellular reproduction (reduction of stretch marks and wrinkles) or the increase in consumption of lipids (fat) within targeted cells.
In
aesthetics chromatic treatment is used in various skin conditions, such as
cellulite,
acne, thread veins, stretch marks and greasy skin. This Chromotherapy equipment
which, is the first appliance to be specifically designed for beauty care,
gives a new and scientific meaning to colour therapy.
